AICTE – EduSkills Virtual Internship Program:

EduSkills signed an MOU with AICTE to provide 1 Million Virtual Internships by 2025. Prof. Anil Sahasrabudhe, Chairman, AICTE launched this program for all Engineering and Diploma students. (Event Link)

Note: As per New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, AICTE has formulated an Internship Policy that mandates Internships for students pursuing technical education under UG/Diploma level.

As per this policy, a minimum of 14-20 credits for an Internship is counted towards the Degree program and 10-14 credits for three years Diploma program. (AICTE Letter Link)
